Hello, there! My, my. Aren’t I on time for this week’s post? LOL.
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature from The Broke and The Bookish.
This week’s Top Ten: Series I’d Like To Start But Haven’t Yet. =) I am listing here those series that I have a complete set of books (either actual or e-book) but haven’t managed to start. Man, I really have to start reading from this list. So… here we go!
- Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis.
- Fever by Karen Marie Moning.
- Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews.
- The Demon’s Lexicon by Sara Rees Brennan.
- The Ghost and the Goth by Stacey Kade.
- Mythos Academy by Jennifer Estep.
- Bloodlines by Richelle Mead.
- Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne.
- Demon Trapper’s Daughter by Jana Oliver.
- Rage of the Apocalypse by Jackie Morse Kessler.
…
If you notice, most of them are in the Paranormal genre. I’ve been so stoked in Dystopia that I forgot I love PNR too. =) Now, which of them do you reco I start ASAP? C’mon on, help me out here! 😀
It took me two years to finish the Narnia series. Heh. It’s easy to read, but I was timing the books to fit the season, like The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is fit for Christmas and The Last Battle for Holy Week. But it’s worth the 2 year-stretch. Hihi.
OOOOH and I think you will like Kate Daniels! 🙂
I have yet to read The Demon’s Lexicon series, too. It’s been on my shelf for a few years (!!!) now. ^^
It’s you I think of when I’m contemplating reading Kate Daniels. I know you love that series 🙂 As for Narnia.. huh. I should’ve started it last Christmas, then. haha!
I’ve read only one Narnia Book. The Horse and His Boy, it’s the third in the series, I think. Never really gotten around reading the rest. Someday maybe. Love the movie adaptations though.Hello Ben Barnes. Lol! 🙂
I also have the Kate Daniels Series on my list! 🙂
Ben Barnes talaga?!! Hahaha
Maria you just reminded me of Stacey Kade’s series 😀
Here’s my Top Ten Tuesday.

Vixen’s Top Ten!
Hi Beth, I think we better start bloodlines, now that book 3 is now out. don’t you think? =)
CHRONICLES OF NARNIAAAAA!!! 😀
wow. grabe ang excitement, sis ha. LOL. reco taken!
I can’t say I’m familiar with any of these except Chronicles of Narnia, and even then I’ve only read the first book. Hopefully you will get around to starting some of these series soon! I know I hope to at least start, if not finish, the Narnia books. I loved The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and I’ve adored the recent films.
I saw the films, and I enjoyed it. I already have all 6 books, I just need to pick. it. up.!
I’ve read three Narnia books on the third grade, and it was really hard to finish them… They’ve never been my type of books….
Anyway, great list!!!
My TTT
Aww. you’re not into fantasy, then?
All of them sound pretty good. How are you going to decide which one to do first??
I’m gonna start with the top 5 on my list 🙂 Thank you!
I read the Narnia series over and over when I was little. I’ve always wanted to read them as an adult and just haven’t.
Let us try to read them as adults, maybe its even better..? Thank you!
The Bloodlines series sound really good! 🙂
Top 10 Tuesday – Mel@thedailyprophecy.
i think so, too. Thanks, Mel!
Chronicles of Narnia was really good. At least I remember it being good when I read it back in public school, I really need to reread those books.
Check out my TTT.
Narnia fans are a big lot! Thank you 🙂
The Fever series is… so good. SO good. I basically spent last August-December freaking out over it. I read it through twice. I need to buy it but keep resisting because the covers are awful and I’m picky. But seriously. So good. SO SO GOOD.
My TTT is here!
another fan of Fever! Woot, thanks Sara!
I also really want to read The Demon’s Lexicon. Definitely get on reading The Chronicles of Narnia! Those books define my childhood 😀
I’ve been getting a lot of mixed feedbacks for Narnia 🙂 But thank you for the vote!
I haven’t finished Narnia – I started, but I confess to getting bored (shame). I haven’t heard of the rest of these – I clearly need to do more reading!
Thanks for stopping by my TTT!
Thanks, Tiff! Haha, I will try Narnia and see past the boredom. LOL.
Bloodlines was very good. Definitely recommend that one!
Thank you, Elizabeth! I think I can buy all three books in one go. LOL
Fever and Kate Daniels! Highly recommended. Two of my all-time favorite UF series!
Good luck getting some of these knocked out! My Top Ten Tuesday!
Woot! I knew I made the right picks 😀 Thank you, Bonnie!
I have only read one book in all the series you mentioned. I think I’m going to look into some of them.
Hope you find some thing to add in your TBR list!
Bloodlines is on my list too! It’s on my April reading list 😀
Top 10 Tuesdays
We better start it, then. 😉 Thanks, Kim!
I hope you check out Bloodlines! I think I like it even more than VA. The Fever series also sounds fantastic.
Really, Lucy? Because I didn’t like how VA was wrapped up. but yeah, I’m eyeing copies of this series in the local bookstore for a month now. 🙂
uy, new blog theme! i love chronicles of narnia! basahin mo na, hehe. for the standalone, yung nirecommend ko sayo dati na ditched.
yeah, para sa blog anniv ko yang new theme 🙂 and yes! I remembered your reco. =)
Great list! Most of those I haven’t read either but I have read Bloodlines and it’s pretty entertaining! I haven’t read the Vampire Academy series but you don’t really have to to understand what’s going on. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by on Tuesday!
Michele | TTT
I think Bloodlines can standalone as a series, even without VA. 🙂 Thanks, Michele!
Mythos Academy and Bloodlines are two of my favourite YA paranormal series. I adore both of them. And Kate Daniels is a great Urban Fantasy series. Fever is great too. My.. all these series tht I’ve read one or two books from and really need to find the time to complete the series! Good luck starting these series 🙂
Yay! good to know i picked the right series to start 😛 Thank you, Kate!
